Master's Project

All MPH students must complete a capstone experience. For most this consists of the preparation and oral presentation of a mentored paper.

Detailed guidelines on the preparation, submission, and oral presentation of the master's paper:

Normally students will begin work on their capstone paper in the term following completion of the practicum. Students should prepare a proposal and outline for their paper, and submit to their supervisor for review and approval. Once they begin the capstone process, students enroll in HSCI 897: Master's Project. Students will work with their supervisors to develop their final project. They will continue to enroll in the project completion course (HSCI 895) until it is completed and successfully presented as described in the Master's Project Guidelines.
