Graduate Programs

Overview of the Faculty of Health Sciences graduate programs

The Faculty of Health Sciences currently offers three interdisciplinary graduate degrees:


We also offer a graduate Diploma in Global Health. An interdisciplinary graduate certificate program in infectious disease are currently under consideration by Senate committees.

Students considering positions of leadership in Population and Public Health or a career as a Public Health practitioner should consider the Master of Public Health degree (MPH).

Students preparing for a research career in the health sciences may wish to consider the Master of Science degree.

Either MSc or MPH training will be accepted as appropriate background for our new PhD degree in Health Sciences.

Notices for Applicants:

  • We are pleased to announce that our new PhD program has been approved!
  • All applicants to our graduate programs should apply online via the Dean of Graduate Studies and then subsequently to the Faculty of Health Sciences. For details, refer to 'Application Information' for the graduate program to which you are applying.
